This things are a pain in the butt to clean.

Not if you clean it right away. A trick if you aren't going to clean it immediately is to put a damp papertowel between the grills while its still warm and it will keep everything from sticking while you eat and then you can clean up by just wiping it clean.

I just got this one with removeable plates, love it...

Saute in a pot with onions & garlic till slightly cooked. Add potatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, and carrots. Fill pot with water and let simmer for 15 min. Add curry mix and let simmer for another 5 min. Tada chicken curry!

It's either that or slice it up and stir fry w/ eggs & green onion.

my favourite healthy and tasty chicken recipe is this.

chop up 2-3 cloves of garlic (or however much you like).

put chicken breasts in bowl.

Add the juice of one/1.5 large lemons.

add garlic.

drizzle about 1/1.5 tablespoons of olive oil in the bowl.

Add salt and pepper. Mix and prick chicken with a fork.

Cover and let sit in refrigerator for 30 mins.

Heat pan on medium high heat.

you can add a cooking spray to the pan, but I don't.

Add chicken to the pan and cook until not pink on the inside any more. let it get browned on the sides, it tastes good.

All pricking the meat will do is make holes for the juice to escape and dry out the meat. No need to do this.

ah, i did not know this. thanks for the tip.

Bread chicken and bake.

Teh best Teriyaki Sauce evar!..

1 part soy sauce
1 part mirin (japanese cooking wine.. can be found in asian section of supermarket)
2 parts sugar
2-3 chopped garlic cloves
lil pepper
lil chopped green onion

bring soy, mirin, and sugar to boil, stir
add garlic
simmer on medium and keep stirring for ~2-4min, then put on low
add green onion a minute before serving

Put on top of hot rice and baked chicken

I usually just use 3 tbsp of mirin, 3 tbsp soy sauce, and 6tbsp of sugar and its enough for 1lb of chicken and 1cup of cooked rice. I'll also usually add a little bit of sake if I want the sauce more liquidy. Enjoy!

pull out frozen frozen breast in the AM and throw it on the Foreman at night. Then put about 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite salsa on it. A coworker mentioned the salsa a few weeks back and I have had it that way ever since.

One of the best chicken recipes I've ever used is with Miracle Whip. With boneless breasts, spread a very thin coating of Miracle Whip all over them, dust lightly with parmasean cheese and garlic powder, then roll them in crushed pretzels. The pretzels have to be crushed pretty fine. Bake in a cookie sheet at 350f for 30 minutes or so. DOES NOT keep the Miracle Whip taste! They are awesome with some wild rice.....

best answer to any cooking thread here i think....chicken cordon bleu, chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, cashew crusted chicken with a ginger-orange sauce, chicken quesadilla, chicken chimichanga, chiken kiev, chicken piccata, stir-fry, brandy-orange chicken with some shrimp, spicy chicken sandwhich, bacon wrapped chicken with cheese

thats off the top of my head, that link has enough to keep you happily eating chicken for a solid month without doing it the same way twice.

a cheap foreman grill will suffice for any grill recipe; a large skillet or deep pot for deep frying if you havent got a deep fryer, an oven and a small frying pan for anything else.

chicken cordon bleu is great; butterfly the breasts (hold your hand firmly on top and slice it almost entirely open with a sharp knife) and stuff them with a slice of mozzarella and some salt-cured ham (country ham, proscuitto, whatever) salt and pepper both sides of the chicken

dredge in flour; shake off excess
then dredge in eggwash (beat 1 egg and a splash of water) and let excess drip off
then dredge in some bread, shake off excess

pan fry(usually medium heat) in 1/2-3/4" vegetable oil @ ~350F (dont test with water, if you can drop a touch of flour in and it sizzles, its hot enough) 4 minutes per side.

chicken stuffed with ham and cheese and fried....beaten only by chicken kiev: chicken stuffed with butter and fried. both are delicious but the kiev is a bit more trouble to go through.

I just cooked some up tonight. I cut them up into bite size pieces, cooked them in some oil, butter and seasoning. Then I tossed them in hot sauce. Made some pretty good boneless buffalo chunks.
