How do I enable "turbo 1" with my Asus P4B266?

I have an Asus P4B266 and a P4 1.8A. I have heard a lot about this "turbo 1" setting which supposedly locks the PCI/AGP frequency (to 33/66 I assume). Is this true? And where do I go to enable this? The BIOS? The CD that comes with it?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

it's in the bios under the memory settings you know where you can change from CAS 2.5 - 2 and your AGP etc...forget the heading exactly

Go into BIOS, go to "Advanced" tab, go to "Chip Configuration", go to "Optimization Mode". Here you can choose from "Normal" (default), "Turbo1", or "Turbo2".

From all ive heard, and from a few people that did tests, Turbo 1 locks AGP/PCI to 72/35. Turbo 2 probably lcoks it a bit higher, and normal setting is dependant on the FSB speed.

I used SiSoft Sandra 2002 to test the speed of my PCI/AGP when my FSB is set to 110
they run at 37/74Mhz respectively WITH Turbo 1 enabled...that means it doens't really lock the ratio as someone has suggested

Sandra can't accurately report the PCI/AGP speeds. The same goes for all such Windows software, afaik; they just take the FSB and make an assumption.

The turbo 1 option, assuming you are using a recent P4B266 bios, does lock the PCI bus at something like 34.6MHz, and it stays this way regardless of FSB. People over on hardforum.com have already used the appropriate hardware testing equipment (by connecting to mainboard) to test and confirm. Turbo 2 is something like 1MHz higher.
