How do i get RC5 to only crunch RC5 and not ogr-25 too??

How do i get RC5 to only crunch RC5 and not ogr-25 too?? I have tried different ways to make it clear for the client to only crunch rc5 but it allways go to ogr afterwards. i can't seem to find a way to config it that way. Onyone who can give a tip??

Open up the Dnetc.ini file and make sure you have this line:

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR=0,DES=0,CSC=0

You really don't have to have the OGR=0 as long as RC5 is listed first, that simply means it will never do OGR. The client runs the programs in the order listed.

Jimmc, that's not quite correct. If you have project-priority=RC5,OGR,DES=0,CSC=0 then if perchance the PC cannot get RC5 work for any reason, it will start doing OGR depending on what some of the other settings are set to.

project-priority=RC5,OGR=0,DES=0,CSC=0 is the only absolutely sure way to get the dnet client to crack only RC5. The problem is if you cannot get RC5 WUs, it will crack RC5 randoms. Also, if the contest ever closes, you will have to manually change over.

Well, I was about 95% correct, much better than you can hope for from the average CSR.....

I said it awkwardly, but I meant to indicate OGR=0 means it will never do OGR, I was kind of suggesting the RC5, OGR, setup figuring if he has a decent size buffer and flushes often it wouldn't be a problem....

Very true, Jimmc. What you suggested would work. I know there is another ini setting to go along with the RC5,OGR,.... setting which was the preferred method of setting it up, but I'll be danged if I can remember what it was. :Q

can u guys also tell me how to get it to get more units at one time? it don't get that many units and then it have to get more. not that big a problem but it would be nice for it to get more at a time.
