Okay, I know this guy fairly well, been to his house a few times etc. I helped him throw together a system once... and since then he's been really into building systems. That's all fine and dandy, except now he thinks my cell is a tech support line!
My cell doesn't work at my job (classified issues), so I leave it off for the day, when I get out of work there are between 2 and 5 messages asking question this guy could figure out if he wished to. He is constantly asking me questions... for heavens sake, I got a call at 3AM on a wednesday asking about some issue or another with another system he's building.... for God's sake, I work my 40 hour week and full time college... the last thing I need is to be a frickin volunteer for tech support for some guy.
Not only that, but he will do the OPPOSITE of what I tell him to do... he has A.D.D. unmedicated and does not listen to a damn word I say. I mean, its really really frustrating to constantly have him saying "Oh I need a new keyboard", or "my system doesn't work"... and not only that, the notion of drawing details out of a situation alludes him.
what can I do to get this guy to figure out some stuff for himself? I don't want to ... kill him... but I might have to. He is a potential asset as an aquaintance (has connections), so I don't want to lose that connection.
