How do I Identify Falcon Chipset in new Elite????

Ok I am ready to buy a new Xbox. Although I have read the info on the Jasper and believe it to be the best I want an Elite. I do want to make sure it has the newer Falcon chipset though. Don't know if it is still possible to buy an Elite with the older 90mn chipset, but don't want to get stuck with one if it is. Please tell me what identifiers to look for in an Elite console. This site seems to point out how to determine arcade jasper units, or pro 360's with the falcon. I want to make sure I know what to look for on the Elite box. Thanks.

With all due respect that does not answer my question. Once again I am trying to figure out how to identify a falcon chipset xbox 360 elite from the markings on the outside of the box. Now excuse me if I am a bit confused I have read allot about the variuos different 360's out there today. What I gather is this Jasper is the best, there is a page on here that says how to spot one, and it looks as though you can do it without opening the box. I do believe jaspers are only confirmed to be spotted in the arcade version of the system so far. I gather that most of the Elites should have the faclcon chipset. But need to know any identifiers that would guarantee an Elite Falcon without opening the box. Thanks!

Thanks. Can you read this information through the cut out area in the box. I saw this cutout on an arcade version box, not sure if all 360 versions (ala pro and elite) have this cutout area on the box.

You should be able to.

I've read in the Jasper forum that it's harder to see the amperage on the Elites/Pros because the hard drive limits the console movement in the box. It's still possible though, just don't buy one that ends in .5

Thanks for all of your help. The simplest way to identify looks to be disregard info on the box and go staight to the peep hole! I will look there for voltage. I hate that Microsoft is not putting the Jasper hardware in the Elites. So I'd have to get a crappy Arcade to have the best known, coolest running, harware! My problem with that is that for $200 I have the best hardware with only 256mb onboard ram no hard drive. Ok so add the hardrive $99 and guess what you are into a pro machine at $299. Are there Jasper Pro's with 12.1 amp 150 volt power? My only other problem is the Black of the Elite just blends in with all my gear, however I might be able to sacrifice that for another $100 in my pocket. Hell I already have an extra hdmi.
