How do I join the Anandtech OGR team?

I've been doing RC5 for a few days, but want to do OGR (since that's supposedly better on a K6-2 than RC5). Since the Anandtech page for distributed computing was taken away, how can I find out how to join the Anandtech OGR team? TIA.

you need to set the client to run ogr under config #2 then #9

set all but ogr to =zero if all you want to do is ogr

If you are/were a member of the Team AnandTech RC5 effort, then you already are a member in OGR.

If you just need to force your client to do OGR instead of RC5, then danzigrules is close.

Since OGR is the "default" contest, in the line of "preferred order" just make sure that there is no "=0" after the OGR entry

It should just be: DES,CSC,RC5,OGR

The order is not important anymore. Even with RC5 first, it will do OGR if possible.

Now with OGR setup, it will only retrieve 1 unit, while with RC5 it will get more. So how can I force it to grab several at a time. I need to do this, since on a dial-up connection, I can't be constantly dialing out for it to send/receive new stuff.

with the threshold at 10 for ogr it keeps my c2600 busy for a day and a half, you might want to up/lower it for your needs

From looking at the DNet stats it's obvious that DPC intends to push us out of our first place position just as they did in RC5. I say - "not twice you don't"

Welcome to the team! OGR will make the best use out of your K6-2, and will be a great addition to the team. I am now diverting a few machines to OGR just to fend off the DPC.
