I like this one. No physical damage done, but gets the bitch to have to shell out some $$$ toget her car back.

Another one would be to use a valve core tool to remove the cores of her valve stems to let the air out of all 4 tires. Then replace.

No damage, and she has to pay for a tow truck to come out...

After some of the things I've seen the OP say I think he deserves it. That and the whole yellow car thing.

How so? I've never done anything to hurt anyone? I am actually somewhat helpful off of the OT forums...

Late at night, crawl under her car and replace her oil pan drain plug with a candle. Next day she goes for a drive, oil heats up and the candle melts spewing her oil all over the road as she drives. Instant seized engine.

I want to take her to court, and fucking ram this bill, +additional money for loss of value to the car -- right down her fucking throat.
I have no idea what to do though. I have all the time in the world to follow up on this.

Just wanted to point out the important parts of your post. I get being pissed that she damaged your car, but why are you so hellbent on doing what you've admitted will be devastating for her?

You're already pursuing it through insurance, just calm the fuck down & let the system work.

Maybe he specifically wants her to be devastated? I would if she had an attitude like that.

Of course, he IS driving a yellow car. WTF is up with that? Why would anyone want to drive a yellow car... It's yellow, for God's sake.

Careful, I have been informed that other members are authorized to make personal attacks against anyone who mentions yellow cars.

The cops are useless. One time a dude rear ended me at a traffic light. I got out, saw my bumper caved in and waited for the dude to get out of his car to exchange info.

Nope. The fucktard floors it (since the light is now green) and goes around me. So I get in my car, chase him for about a mile or two, and jot down his license plate. After a mile or so I realize this is hopeless. What I am going to do, somehow get ahead of him in my Civic, swerve in front, and make him stop? Then drag him out of the car and piledrive his ass into the pavement? No, that's what we have the po-lice for. Or so I stupidly thought...

I figure hey, this dude hit me, then took off. Text book hit and run. I have the make, model, and license plate of his car. I go to the cops and give them all this information. They tell me there's not much they can do (since it was an out of state plate) and that I should basically go fuck myself. What more could I have possibly given them? The guy's blood type and astrology sign?

So in short, the cops suck and will do nothing to help you. The mistake is assuming they care enough to help you.

I'm not saying this applies to all police officers, but my own experience leads me to believe that many cops won't lift a finger unless an incident literally falls in their lap (i.e., they are crashed into) or unless it's quota time.

Yeah we really need to get the police to stop looking for actual violent crime and start putting more man hours into looking for stolen $200 ipods.

Yeah, that's why they wouldn't investigate our car break-ins (where did I say iPod, anyway?????) or my wife's ID theft... they were too busy solving violent crimes  .

Back under your bridge.

My suggestion .... fight fire with fire. You won't get her to cover it and her attitude is pretty clear so right before you take your car to get it repainted, let a "pretend" gust of wind catch your door and cause a nice sized dent in her car door.

Get it repainted.
Also, when you get it repainted, see if they can add a "stiffener pad" on the inside of the door panel before baking it in the paint booth. It'll stiffen up the door panel and help resist dings.

Then get a door guard stuck on the outside at the correct height.

Just keep bugging the landlord until you get moved to a new spot. Anything you do to retaliate will just result in your car getting more beat up.

I like the idea of letting the air out of her tires. The best part is that you can do it EVERY DAY.

lol yeah that would be funny too. I mean, every freaken day, she'd have to get someone to put air back in. Would need to be very sneaky about it though so you're not caught. Maybe just drill a very small hole in the tires or something.

I also like the candle oil drain thing, though that's a bit more damaging.

Also this video is probably appropriate for the situation:

At the manufacturing plant:
"Holy shit! What were we thinking??! Hey Bob, make sure you cancel the order for more of this yellow paint. Christ, we're going to have over 1000 of these things to sell. Let's cross our fingers."

Later, "Hello, Ace paint manufacturing company? Yeah, this is Bob. About that yellow paint. Cancel our order for more, immediately! What? Oh, who cares if there won't be enough to allow for reasonable costs for repairing door dings. The kind of people who would purchase one of these yellow monstrosities are the kinds of people willing to for over a few hundred extra every couple of months just to cover some very minor door dings."

BTW, even if you win in court, you are still, basically on your own to try to collect.

Given that you have a yellow car, I think the chances are success at any stage is pretty much zero.

MotionMan

wtf is with you and yellow cars

You people have no sense of mockery.
