How do I tell what version of an ASUS a7n8x Deluxe?

Look for very small lettering below the A7N8X logo between the PCI slots, saying Rev. 1.03 or whatever.

yep it should tell you when you look around there it could be either 1.04 or 2.00 or the later versions if you got it when it just came out.

Yes it is! The 2.00 is the latest one AFAIK.

ok, so I only have rev 1.04 I can't find what the issue here is.... I doubt there's any way of exchanging.... I've had this for months, but what's the diff.

The rev. 2 model uses a newer stepping of northbridge that allows some additional OC headroom. Features are identical.
