how do I zip something?

i think is called new zip or add zips or smth. i prefer winrar as its better.
anyway, there is a context menu, so select what u want to zip, right click and chose add to zip...

cant you open the help in winzip ???

how did u figure out how to use the internet and find the fourms and use them if u cant freaking make a zip file?

Jeez you two, atleast tell him how! Casio just right click the item you want zipped and select add to zip. Then when the new screen opens change the options such as how much compression and stuff then select Add.

thanks grey, but I had to reinstall my winzip for it to display "add to zip", that's odd.

for the other losers, I don't have a "add to zip" when I right click! To think, the nerve.

i wont be flaming here coze i dont like flaming, but people who ask how to make a zip file should really shut up and look for it in the programs help file or readme or the online help, or some newbie book/site... and if you cant install winzip properly so it will have context menu support... well, a person who cant make a zip file says it all!!!

wolf, I know that if I type something here, I will get a reply faster than I will sitting here reading a help file, or going online to a search engine, since everone here sits online all day on these forums, and there are responses every 5 sec. But no flaming here.

well i am sorry for the rude language, but i just cant figure out how some one can use these forums and cant zip smth. i do know those are the best forums on the net and everything someone ask will be answered. so casiotech, i understand the problem wasnt that you dont know how to use winzip... i still recommend WinRAR and WinAce (especialy 'coze WinAce can make MS-CAB files which are smth smaller than both RAR and ACE
