Does anyone remember the number to call Sprint PCS if your phone keeps dropping calls, where they would send you a new phone or upgrade it to a different phone if you planned on cancelling your service?

I have a potential warm deal for an item i've been wanting for some time now. I'll post it after I get this AMEX PM thing understood.

Here's what the deal would be:

169(original price) - 10(coupon) + 1(s&h) = 160

but there is an opportunity to PM at another vendor for 146.95(original price) + 21.20(s&h) = 168.15

so what would the final price be for this situation?
do they give you
169 - 146.95 = 22.05 PM on original price
159 - 146.95 = 12.05 PM taking coupon into account
160 - 169.15 = -8.15 PM using final price in which case there is no point in PMing

so basically my question is how do they do the AMEX PM thing?

also i have AMEX blue for business. do they have the best value gaurantee (BVG) too? cuz if i remember correctly blue for students does not have BVG.

thanks for any help.

Fortunately I was able to salvage one of HawkeyeNJ's excellent posts from this previous How Do I thread.

Wherever you are HawkeyeNJ you'll be missed

How Do I post a deal ?
__________________________

Looking how 2 post a HOT DEAL? First do a SEARCH Forum Search Engine in search check off HOT DEALS only(important, cause crappers love reposts) 2 b sure it has NOT already been posted. Do not b afraid 2 post a deal. (Not all deals r hot 2 all people). DO NOT post Coupon CODES in your post it is NOT ALLOWED.Altough u can mention any that pertain 2 your deal.
Good Luck !

Posting of Coupon Links

The only links to coupons that we consider acceptable are on the issuer's site. I wish it were possible to verify whether other scans were transferable, but we simply do not have the manpower to do that, so the rule must be DO NOT DO IT.

Does anyone know of any Sears stores in Orange County that are actually honoring the internet pricematch? I went to Sears in Westminister today and asked about the Internet pricematching policy and they gave me a VERY lame list of 'approved' internet sites I could use. All of them basically price everything the same as Sears does.

So is the pricematch dead or do I just need to find a different Sears store?

Thanks.

imo, asked them the wrong way... pricematch is more commonly being frowned upon, whereas showing them a site you printed out (with the shipping totaled in already), SEEMS to work better. i rarely bother with pming, but i know that sears salesman brag that "they pricematch anybody!"
good luck

Welcome Jim
Yes.
AMEX Blue BVG is sometime very good... depend on the CSR (same as PM on phone with OD, OM etc), 2 weeks ago, i printed out the page on pricewatch.com for a Duron 950 CPU, it drop down to $35 that night (it jump back up to $38, 39 next day) for 1 co. You know, those need to phone order and mention Pricewatch.com... I call and make a claim, say i see in the pricewatch.com that XXXX co. are selling for $35 with phone in order and mention pricewatch.com... they give the claim #, fax number and ask me if i did this BVG before. (I did) So fax in the next morning (their fax line is busy all night)
and AMEX blue send me the $11 check last week. no problem....
BTW, the min. price diff. is $10.

Another Amex Blue BVG Question:

Do u take into account shipping charges when doing a price match? For example Lets say i buy something for $100 at a B&M store and i see the same item that cost $85 + $20 shipping online for a total of $105. Can i do a pm for $85?

thanks in advance. . .

My local officemax, as well as the 1800 CS said they will only PM other office supply stores. Online will PM anywhere, but then you gotta pay shipping too, and the fine print on their page says no PM w/ rebate items.
Are you trying to PM the CDRs?

I have a full version of Windows 98 SE that I am trying to upgrade a laptop that has Windows 98 on it. I keep getting an error saying the SE disk is for full installations and not upgrades. Can someone tell me if there is a way to do an 98 to 98 SE upgrade with a full version of 98 SE?
