How do people live with cpanel / DirectAdmin?

This is horrible. I need to do a simple:

find . -name *.php -exec chmod 755 {} \;

And it (seems) impossible without going directory to directory in the file manager. I will never get an account w/o ssh again.

All I have access to on my webserver is Cpanel... so I make do...

but it does suck.

I use DirectAdmin with SSH so I don't have that problem.

If your host will not enable ssh access for you, install Fileman it will let to run commands like that.

You'd pretty much have the same problem with any host who doesn't allow ssh access
