I don't understand. You think the Note is better than the 6+, you didn't like your Note at all, but now you're trying a 6+?

For me, I've determined that it's just one of those things I have to try just to make sure. I was curious about the device so while I'm in a grace period, I figured I'd just try it anyway.

For as little sense as it sounds, it makes sense in my head. Maybe I just have little sense..

For me, right now, I feel probably how Android tablet users feel.

Everything is CLEARLY designed for a device with a smaller screen. The software is going to have to really catch up. Once software starts taking advantage of the larger screen resolution, then the 6+ will be significantly different enough from the other iPhones that it will start to influence the choice a lot more.

And it's still way too big for me. I'm willing to give it a shot because I believe that software will be a big differentiation. But come this time next year, if nothing has changed, I'll probably go with the smaller device.

After playing with both for a bit, I like the 6+ better by far. I'm a phablet fan, so the regular 6 is still too small. Web browsing on the 6+ is much better than on the 6 (don't even get me started on my iPhone 5...).

I almost got one online this morning. I had it in my cart and selected it for in-store pickup, but there is no step between selecting in-store pickup and checkout. Someone else completed checkout first. I used one at the store and I loved it. I have big hands, though, so I am able to use it with one hand without too much trouble. We'll see how I like it when I'm faster clicking at the checkout.

I'm of the opinion that 4 to 4.5 inches is the correct size for me. 4.7" is already getting a little too big but 5.5 is ridiculous

Finally got the 6+ yesterday. I don't find it too big at all, actually fits in my pocket just fine, which surprised me. I'm able to one hand it without a problem, only stuff in the upper left part of the screen is a stretch. Like mugs said, I just hold it out on my fingers instead of cradling it in my palm like I did with the 3.5" phone.

I went down to Costco and messed around with a 6+ that they had......I think it is just the perfect size!!

I've had mine since the 9/19. I really like it. I have big hands, so I can still do a lot of things one handed. Still waiting on a bunch of apps to be updated so they don't look so huge. Battery is awesome.

exactly!! Fits in my pocket just fine!! The only drawback is I do not have a data plan and am use to my Nokia and the Here Drive + app that acts as a useful GPS and map system...
Since this is my first Apple product I am getting use to iTunes and other apps to add music and take pictures...etc

It would be so much nicer if you could just drop music files into a predetermined folder and have you PC software automatically sync that to you phone wirelessly.

Hrmmm .... my phone does that.

Heheh, the only 6 and 6 Plus units I've seen in the wild, bought by friends, are gold. Personally I think it looks great.

They all look the same with an Otterbox on them anyway and let's face it, that phone is WAY too expensive / scrachable / BENDABLE to use without a protective case.

My wife is insisting on a 128Gb 6+ for the insane price of $499 w/ 2 yr contract. It is going to be nearly impossible to convince me that that the 6+ is 5x better than the LG G3 for $99 w/ 2 yr contract.

Just my $.02

I love it when people analyze things in the most retarded way possible.

So that $99 LG G3 is 99x better than a $1 subsidized phone? You know that contract subsidized prices are not the true cost of the phone, right? Subsidy is worth about $400 so you're comparing a $900 iPhone to a $499 G3.

You're right. That is crazy for a 128mb phone.

The only thing "retarded" - your word -about my analysis was my choice of the word 'better' when I should have said:
"It is going to be nearly impossible to convince me that that the $500 6+ is worth the 5x higher cost than the LG G3 for $99 w/ 2 yr contract."
We are comparing a $900 phone ($850 from Verizon) to a $499 phone (600 from Verizon). Those two phones are essentially similar, and MANY reviews regard the G3 as a superior phone, but for argument sake, let’s call it a draw. If I was paying full price for the phones, I would have to pay about 41% more for the 6+ than the G3.

Let’s look at this a different way or different scale: Mustang GT vs. Camaro SS. Both similar cars with similar performance. The scale may tip in one direction in one area (e.g.: handling), and a different direction in another (e.g.: breaking), and the reviewers are split on the cars and generally regard them as equal. Now let’s pretend the Mustang cost 41% more than the Camaro (i.e.: $63,450 Mustang vs. $45,000 for the Camaro. (yes, I know the actual cost difference is not that great, but work with me here). Who would buy the Mustang over the Camaro if there was a 41% difference in price??? A Mustang fanatic I suppose. What if, similar to the Phone world, the dealers subsidized the cars, and did it at different rates – like the phone world. The subsidized Mustang would only cost $30,214 (with a 2 year contract ), but the subsidized Camaro only cost $7,500. I would have to pay 5x times the cost of the Camaro to get the Mustang. Which car / phone would be the better buy?

The comparison is the same, only the scale is different.

I stand by opinion that the 6+ is not worth the 5x price that Verizon is charging for it over the cost of the G3.

That's a myth...you actively have to try to bend the phone or do something stupid to the phone!

LMAO

Yea, and nobody ever does anything stupid with their phones....

Face it, they essentially scaled up the iPhone 6 in two dimensions without increasing the strength of the frame to keep it thin, but feel free to argue with me if you want.
