Norton Utilities 2001 won't defrag more than one at a time.
Ontrack SystemSuite will do what you want, and it's code is more time-tested. Plus, Ontrack includes Trend Micro Antivirus, which a recent PC World review ranked first.

Are you sure NU 2001 can't defrag multiple partitions simultaneously? I just ran a NU speed disk defragging 2 partitions at the same time and everything worked. Maybe we have different versions of NU 2001? My speed disk file version is &quot;5.1.0.245&quot;.

P.S. The Diskeeper is still my preferred app. by the way.

use either the AT command line utility or the task scheduler wizard

The original request was for consecutive defrag, not simultaneous defrag. Ontrack defrag utility will consecutively defrag C, D, E, F or whatever drives you check off, one at a time until finished. My NU speed disk version is 5.00.28, as shown under &quot;Help/About Norton Speed Disk/Norton Utilities&quot; in the Speed Disk program display box.

why do you care if they are done consecutively vs similtaneously?
