I already have a p32, it's a .32 kel tec version of the LCP. I prefer my p238, and am willing to make sacrifices in order to carry it instead.

The P238 is a one pound gun. That is a lot of weight to run with. My brother owns a P232, he carries everywhere. I am in the same line of work and thinking about adding a CZ P-01 to my daily carry.
Just yesterday walking my dog at an intersection in front of our middle school no less, some Camry with two 'hood' looking asshats in it hanging their arms out the side came up to a four way stop fast. A lady stopped ahead of them and was going to cross. They sped out and blocked her then started flapping their chicken wings at her and threw a can at her vehicle. Meanwhile everyone else was now stopped.
I asked "hey, what's wrong, you guy's break down?" They told me to FUCK OFF and started to get out of the car. I sent a stream of OC spray and they fled.
Today at a Wendy's some fat chick put her Explorer in park right in front of the drive in window then slowly walked inside to complain that her fries were not full, 'shit' was cold, and all sorts of other drama. I walked there.
I almost got hit crossing that same drive thru line as now everyone was getting out of it since it wasn't moving.
I was in line in at the counter when she finally made it in.
I told her "Hey, you know you are blocking the whole drive through, you can park right next to your truck?"
She told me "shut up bitch".
It escalated until she told me she was about to slap the shit out of me. I told her she better go and get a gun then.
Only one old lady in line (about 10 people) even commented. She said "YOU TOUCH THAT MAN AND YOU BETTER KILL ME, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!"
The freaking counter help just catered to her unfortunately. The first three replacements they brought she complained about and threw on the counter.
As she walked out she told me "I got you now!"
They waited in the parking lot and then as I was walking out threw a handful of chicken nuggets at me then blew a stop sign then a red light running.
These two incidents were 40 miles apart. Gotta love it here.
This is why I am seriously considering escalating my OC spray daily carry and a simple swiss army knife to OC spray, a simple swiss army knife, a tactical blade and a hand gun.

See the problem is, you think someone telling you to mind your own business is being agressive to you. The truth is you should mind your own business. One day you are going to hurt someone, and it will be your fault because you didn't mind your own business.
It will go down like this. There will be some robberies in your area and you will see a fat ugly lady, or a black teen, or some other "undesirable" walking through your street. You will decide to go tell them they don't belong there and follow them for a few blocks while notifying 911 there is a criminal in your area. Then even after being told to leave it to the police you will confront them where you will end up shooting them.
Then you will play the "but I was just doing what people used to do before you were all pussies" card and look like just another douche bag who isn't responsible enough to carry a gun and makes everyone else who carries a gun look bad.
The litmus test is simple: Is there a immediate life threatening situation that can't wait for police? If the answer is no, then keep your mouth shut, your gun holstered, and go eat your damn cheeseburger. People wouldn't be threatening to beat your ass if you were not injecting themselves into their lives in the first place (and being a douche).

Kel-Tech makes some badass weps, I really like the sub-2000 (.40 version but heard the 9mm is fun too) tactical rifle that is only freaking 4oz (wife and kids can handle it in an emergency) and hits 2X as hard as any pistol/revolver. The kicker is that it's only around $300, has an extremely low rate of jamming, and the only complaint people had was the trigger but that is minor/picky stuff. Next I'm going to check out their "plastic" tactical short barrel shotgun for home defense.
I just don't like plastic guns, and really don't like double action setups. Metal guns feel much more natural and comfortable, and all of my practice has revolved around 1911-style safety mechanisms.
I like my p32 (.32 version of a p3at, identical in size and function to p3at and LCP), but the DA trigger is just unnatural to aim with. Also, while the sights are effective at most self-defense distances, they still suck and aren't night sights.
I equate the p3at/LCP almost to a revolver.. Something I would stick in my glovebox for a close encounter emergency, but not my personally preferred daily carry gun. But, everyone is different, some people love DA and plastic guns, and the lighter weight is a definite plus.
Huge +1... At some point during the degradation of society over the last 30 years, it became unacceptable to 'call out' an ignorant dumbass. Nowadays you're supposed to shy away in a corner and ignore them, which is essentially accepting their behavior.

Think of it as different cultural influences, most asians don't care about stuff like this and just ignore it and go about their own business. If you've been raised like that (or live in an area with a high propensity of asians) chances are you behave the similarly.
I think of it as picking and choosing my own battles, could I say something? Yeah, is it worth getting worked up over? Probably not, I have my own stuff to deal with. Let them make assholes of themselves.
