how do you get on the internet, how much do you pay and what is the speed?

I get mine really cheap because I work for my ISP, but I have two main connections to my home.

Primary connection is a point to point wireless link using a pair of Motorola PtP600 radios and ubiquiti dual polarity antennas. I only have the lite license on the radios right now, but they seem to work very good. We have our own speedtest server, but using speedtest.net to the nearest server (40mi away), I get this right now -

I also have a backup connection that is two bonded ADSL2+ loops using a Zhone 6228 modem. One loop does not work as well as the other, but I regularly get 25/2 out of it, but here is a speedtest from just a second ago to the same speedtest server as the first -

$24 a month for both.

Overall: Service sucks, goes off at least 5x a day for 15-45 mins at a time. No phone or tv here, refuse to pay for any more shit services.

i have nothing bad to say about their cable internet service

i pay for 10/1 think its like 60$ a month - its actually the fastest plan you can get where i live unless you go to a business line

i get 30/3 - hurray

only had a few issues over 10 or so years. they had to replace a modem here and there and fix something with the line to the house. other than that its been rock solid

That's what I'm afraid of (InsightBB was bought by TWC and changing next month). Couple that with one of the execs of TWC stating that they are going to start focusing on getting more money from their customers instead of getting more customers doesn't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy about them.
