I don't see Potato Salad as an option, would that just be Boiled?

Also, peeled then quartered and placed into a 9x9 pan w/ butter, garlic, and salt then put in the oven until fork tender, is that Baked?

Added boiled to the list.

Since others are posting recipes, I like them baked in the oven. Take a piece of foil, dice or slice some potatoes and onions and spread on the foil, add butter slices and spices, wrap the extra foil up to cover the potatoes and bake at about 350f for about 30 minutes, depending on how many you make. Before serving, add sour cream, cheese and bacon bits to top it off.

Delicious!

The potato is basically the only starch/carb I really like.
Favorite way... baked, with a crispy skin from sea salt rubbed on before baking. On top of that, REAL butter, FRESH chives and good sour cream with salt and lots of pepper.

It is so good, I wish I could slather it on myself.

Just about any way you can prepare them.

I do like them boiled and mashed with a little salt and real butter the most though.

In a stew

With an omelette...
1/2" chunks, par boiled, drained and dried, then fried in lard.

Or with steak...
Twice baked, add butter, sour creme, cheddar cheese, a little paprika on top for looks.

Why would you fry potatoes in lard, when it doesn't add any flavor, but only fat?
