The woman makes the coffee.

Beans go through Electric Burr Grinder
Then Bunnomatic drip machine heats water and drips yummy coffee.

Krups KM7000 grind and brew. It has a built in burr grinder that grinds the coffee and much easier to keep clean than the Cuisinart grind and brews. Unfortunately they have a built in fatal fail point with 2 thermal fuses that fail prematurely. I have had to take mine apart twice to replace these and next time they fail it gets pitched. I get my beans from Christopher Bean weekly in the mail.

If I do hot coffee, it's usually burr grind and french press or Chemex pour over depending on if I've got a more relaxing morning or in a rush. Cold brew I usually make a 64oz batch or so every few days by letting it steep for 24 hrs in the fridge. Always drink my coffee black, but sometimes I'll add MCT oil or make bulletproof coffee with Kerrygold.

Meijer brand (or Folgers, or whatever is cheapest) ground coffee in a coffee machine. I only make it on the weekends. Tastes good to me. I've had Keurig coffee at work and I'd take my home coffee any day, though K coffee isn't undrinkable or anything.

Folgers Classic Roast with a French Press.

I add filtered water (stored in the refrigerator), and grounds to the French Press, then 3 minutes in the microwave and it's at 185°. Wait a minute or two and pour.

Folgers Classic Roast -> French Press.

Fixed for clarity. For a second there I thought you were saying Folgers drip coffee is better than French pressed coffee, and would have suggested you be committed to a mental health institution for evaluation.

Have a Mr Coffee drip style which I got for $40 I believe. Just buy the large bags of either Dunkin' or Kirkland brand from Costco. I've tried a lot of different things, but I like the simplicity of it being ready to go each morning. Tried the Keurig thing in the past, but refillable containers got to be a pain when you drink 4-6 cups a day.

Make my coffee? Please - I have people for that.

Seriously. We have a press and keurig at home that the wife makes coffee with (depending on her mood). If she doesn't make coffee we have free coffee at work thats pretty much always brewed by someone when I get to work. In the rare event that neither option is available I perpetually have starbucks gift cards from work contests and vendors. One of these days I might have to figure out how to make coffee but I'm trying to see how long I can go before that happens

Keurig clone. I'm too lazy to go through the rigamarole any more. Plus it makes me appreciate really good coffee when I do get it.

I do try to avoid the cups with the plastic shell, they seem to have more of an aftertaste.

Stopped drinking american style drip coffee. I think it tastes too watery.

That being said, we prefer our coffee strong. We sometimes make Turkish style coffee at home in a normal cooking pot, altering the size of the pot depending on how many people are drinking. I think turkish coffee is the best method for making the thickest head of crema on the coffee. You dont need any special equipment, just the finest grind (powdered really) coffee and the easy to learn technique.

And a recent trip to Italy showed us we have embraced their espresso culture. We use an Bialetti moka pot. I prefer espresso and I like to drink shots of coffee throughout the day rather than cups of american coffee. No milk or sugar. Would love to get a legit espresso machine someday for the convenience

Keurig on the weekdays and french press on the weekends. I buy ground and use the refillable pods. My first cup is caffeinated and the next three are usually decaf. I try to buy water processed decaf like Newman's Own but sometimes I go for the cheaper Kirkland brand decaf which is actually pretty good.

I use 8 O'clock coffee in the french press. It seems like the easiest way to do it, and it's even easier since I got an electric kettle. Plus it tastes better than a regular coffee maker.

Locally roasted beans + Burr grinder + moka pot

I've been thinking of getting a stovetop vacuum pot, but I have read some of the reviews on Amazon(bodum pebo and others) and some say they are not reliable (leaking and cracking). Any suggestions for a good one?

Burr grinder and drip machine. Sometimes I'll use some preground as well. Going from beans is more expensive but way I look at it, it's still cheaper than going to Timmy's every day. I still crave that coffee once in a while so I usually pick one up on my way to work when I'm on nights though. Pretty sure they put crack cocaine in that stuff.

At work we have a keurig, but I find it does not make as good of a coffee as drip machine. Like even when I use my own grounds.

French presses are a pain to clean well. I only use mine occasionally to make cold brew.
?

Pull out plunger, tip grinds in compost bin, rinse jug and plunger under hot tap.

I mainly use a French press because its low maintenance and easy to clean. Occasional moca pot if I fancy a short one.

Yup, presses are easy. That's all I'd use if I only drank a cup or two at a time. I use the bunn for quantities to take to work.

Keurig as a caffeine delivery device with some dark roast k-cups. Bialetti Moka Express when I actual want to enjoy coffee, not that fussy about fresh ground or not. Used a Krupps drip coffee brewer for years before that (fresh ground beans then). I store ground coffee in the freezer to preserve taste after opening.

Most mornings a $15 Mr. Coffee drip machine with pre-ground coffee, occasionally a French press on the weekend. Sometimes I think about getting a nice grinder for use with the French press but have yet to get around to it.

You never unscrew the filter part and clean the screens to remove stuck coffee grounds? If you're fine with just rinsing, that's quick and easy.
