When the Allies won it looked like the following:

The Americans were lucky to force the Japanese out of Canada, but did nothing else
The British managed to invade Europe and take over Germany but they lost Australia to the Japanese
The Russians took over Africa from the Germans and the entire Pacific from the Japanese




Dunno when the next time I can get the guys together for another Axis & Allies all nighter, been a year since the one I just mentioned. Next time I'm the Germans I think I will invade Canada, depending on who plays the Americans.

in a way the axis did win. look at what happened to germany and japan during the course of the war. before they were struggling to make it through the depression. after we helped them rebuild everything we blew up. meanwhile France and Britain were no longer among the world's top powers and Russia was locked in a loosing war for almost half a century. Germany and Japan within maybe 25 years were the world's second and third largest economies, and to this day have among the best standards of living and per capita income.

I consider that pretty good concidering they tried to take over the rest of us, and had they won, things would be nowhere near as good for the losers.

Technically, I guess you can get away with calling them that, but you might as well include Poland and China. IMO once you are defeated and cannot repel them yourselves, you no longer are more of a burden than an asset and shouldn't be called an Ally.
