This image pretty much sums up America right now. I thought this during the Bush II years, and I believed Obama's campaign lies and voted for him and donated multiple times to his campaign. I have to thank Obama for showing me the light actually. The Obama brand carried a promise of the most hopeful and inspiring future of any President ever. He fooled everyone. He fooled europeans and Americans alike and he blew so much sunshine up everyone's ass that he even cajoled the Nobel Peace Prize Committee to give him a prize before he even did anything.

Then after he took office he showed himself to be worse than Bush II ever was. Quite an amazing thing, it liberated me from the big lie that the American political system was anything other than completely corrupt and broken. Only Obama, the greatest promise who became worse than Bush could have achieved such a thing. Kind of a matrix-like red pill moment. So which puppet would you like people to vote for instead?

This guy is just attacking anything and everything about America from our very constitution to our harmony.

It really seems that trying to reason with his crazies is like trying to argue with a parrot.

It might have seemed funny, entertainment at one point but when people are actually getting physically hurt by the hateful rhetoric.. when do we say enough is enough.

Do enough of us in America oppose him or there's just not enough of us? How can he be stopped? Can he be stopped?

Well, there's always not voting for him.

So uh, what do you propose to fix this?

Considering, at best, he's got 27% of the Republican base support it is safe to say that there are plenty of sane people to ensure that he has zero chance of becoming president.

I like to think that ivwshane is right until I realize that we were led to invade Iraq. America has done & believes in some crazy shit. It depends on our mood, & there's not much reason for America to be in a bad mood other than for the perpetually disgruntled, Trump's core of support.

So Obama wasn't the Messiah?

And he's worse than GWB in what way, exactly?

Or is this just an exercise in tearing it down if it's not perfect?

Well I certainly would like to thank you for removing yourself from the voting process.

I would say Obama has done an excellent job of this the last 7 years, and I doubt Trump could replicate his success.

Yeh, having an uppity black mooslim usurper of white christian values in the Oval Office has really thrown them into a tizzy. From their perspective it makes Trump look like the Messiah.

As for the crazy ass OP, the U.S. will be fine whoever we elect. Stop acting like a toddler because a candidate like Trump who you only agree with on 95% of things might win instead of a candidate like Hillary or Bernie where it might be 98%. Get outside this country and your own biases for a bit and you'll see there's very little daylight between the Dems and GOP on almost every issue, especially when you compare the gap to those between parties of other nations.

Sooner or later the welfare state destroys the country. Before that is allowed to happen, people will take sides and things will escalate. The only question is which side do you want to be on? The side of endless redistribution of Other People's Money to single moms and illegal immigrants? That is the Hillary Clinton side. It is still too politically incorrect to describe it in such simplistic black and white terms, but that is going to change. The GOP will be purged of the welfare statists and hopefully the warfare statists too, but one thing at a time.

I'll enjoy watching the uneducated rightwingers tear each other apart, nothing of value will be lost, except some shifts at oil change places will go unworked.

IGBT's need to take the plastic bag off their heads before all that rebreathed CO2 causes even more brain damage. The conservative brain can't take much more...

This sounds EXACTLY like Republican fear mongering to me.

Why does anyone think he could win in a general election?

So uh, what do you propose to fix this?
Stop voting for the least worst, stop putting the status quo into the general election (Jeb or Hillary) The only person running in this election that has a new plan for the middle east is Sanders.. all of the rest just want to continue on the same path since Regan.

Of course everyone calls him a kook or unelectable.. why? because we have trained ourselves to go with that statue quo that we have for the last 3 decades.
