I used to be picky like that a couple of years ago, paying [too much] attention to details inevitably leads to staring at an object seeing imperfections (be it right in your face or lost somewhere in a forgotten nook at the boundary of a map). It was so bad in my case that I was almost drawn towards such things rather than merely finding about them by coincidence or mistake. I am convinced that absolutely zero development team would have wanted me as a lead, I would have been an asshole to them even if my intention would have been 'for the best' in terms of overall textures quality and equilibrium.
And then I got older.
Yeah... nowadays I just play them, and if I do see something akin to what the OP posted I roll my eyes and shrug it off if I actually enjoy the game-play. If I don't like the game and have (or post about) complaints I usually mention something else (other aspects, like the A.I., unfitting music, badly-scripted or wacky scenes, boring missions, bad voice acting, etc).
