I may be experiencing trouble with my RAID setup, so I'm moved to ask this question which has been bugging me for some time anyway...
I am wondering how Windows Scandisk deals with mirrored RAID arrays. If I do a Thorough test to check the readability of each sector, will it report errors if one drive has flaws but the other does not? Is it smart enough to know that it has to test _both_ drives? Or do I have to take the array apart and put it on a regular IDE header to do the test properly.
Hopefully someone out there knows "the truth" on this subject.
Thanks
