How far up from the floor is a towel bar supposed to be?
I want to get it right.
High enough up that you don't have to stoop and not so high that you have to reach. Want us to get a research team from MIT to run the numbers for you?
There has already been plenty of research done by MIT on this topic.
The scientific consensus is that the proper height of a towel bar, from top of finished floor to center, is .7164 Smoots.
This is the correct answer for any question.Whatever height your wife says it is.
IIRC, 16" for mounting above a countertop or toilet tank.
Height shaming again?Depends on if you're a manlet or not. I think 5' would be a good level, but the world makes everything for the lowest common denominator, and makes my back hurt :^(
Height shaming again?
What if you're using extra-long towels, like 4.5K Faradays or larger?
QFT Keep telling the wife to use the restaurant napkins but she refuses. She's 4'8", why can't I toss fresh towels on the floor?Short people got no reason to live. Do short people even need towels or can they get by with a Handi-Wpie?
no no no no no
i've used one of those, it's horrible. the towel is too long and drapes all over the toilet, disgusting. And it's actually 24" above.
if you're thinking about putting it over the toilet, don't. but if you absolutely must, 30" MINIMUM

Pretty sure none of are getting out of this alive.I HOPE YOU DIE!
