How fast are our brains?

actully this is not true.

Our brains are so fast that with current technology scientest cann't even start to mark the speed that it goes at.
and it's not so much that some are faster than others. it's that some people hav better RECALL skills than others.

It's not very realistic to compare a CPU to a neural network. A CPU is static, i.e. it never changes shape, while a neural network is constantly changing.
A neural network is more than just a processing unit, it also stores input from the senses. This way of storage is, however, not exactly 'storage' like an archive. All information in it degrades constantly. When you remember something, certain data has to be restored before it's usable. During this process the data becomes always modified. That's why you can never remember a complete scene, as though it was a movie. You can only remember certain details.

We have such a fast brain that most people can't do division and multiplication by mind.

IT is watercooled.

I am not kidding either.

Also just think of the insanly complex calculations needed to catch a football for example while running, or do an alley-oop. While it may not seem that way there are tons of calculations that need to be dead on for this to work.

I overclocked mine a few years ago in college,etc squeezed out some extra performance, but paid the price later with decreased performance afterwards. Must have burned out some of the interconnects. oh well.

actually i heard our brains function at 200mhz...no joke.
But i can't remember my source (prolly discovery or learning channel)
