The Visiontek 5632 uses 7 nanosecond Infineon memory chips, I think this is right.
I got it here its at the middle of the page.

People have been reporting that they are now delivered with 5.5ns ram. Check Neweggs product ratings for that product. Their own customers are reporting this to be the case.

The two GTS-V's I picked up had 7ns memory, but both can o/c to regular 200/333 speeds without any problems. Excellent card for the money, especially Rev C.

I just received the 5632 , Tuesday and my chips are 5.5 you can tell by looking at the SGRAM chips themselves I believe it is the numbers on the 2nd line of the chip it should either say 7 0 or 5 5 , I think this is the case. I am running my chips at 350 with no aritifacts.

Just received two of these today from Newegg and they were both 7ns revision C. BTW I was reading where the heatsinks my be hindering OC. Are these easy to remove?

I believe 5.5ns ram should be able to reach about 400mhz DDR without problems...the infinitron stuff is pretty decent ram.

Rondeemc: It shouldn't be that hard to remove ram sinks that are glued on. They typically dont use a lot of glue and many of them can be pried off with some care and an exacto knife or small blade...but be careful not to chip any surrounding capacitors. I have also heard of people placing the card in the anti static bag and then throwing it in the freezer for like 5-15 min...then taking the sinks off. However, don't do this until you get someone that has done it b/c I haven't. Again I'm not frimilar with this card...so if it doesn't use epoxy and just uses clips then removal will be simpler... I also dont see how ramsinks could hinder ocability....they might not be the best ram sinks and better cooling/application of those same sinks might imporve OCability...but i doubt haveing them on will hinder it.

Personally if I was going to but another GeForce2 I would get the gainward 64mb Ti450 w/ 4.5ns ram. My friend just bought one for $100 a couple of weeks ago (now $87) and it runs very well and can take very nice overclocks.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago from Newegg and the memory on the card I received was 5.5ns Infineon DDR. I have it running smoothly at 200/340(have not tried to go higher as of yet) with coolbits and the 23.12 drivers.

My $.02,

The lower the nanosecond the better, correct? Newegg has this thing priced at $48. What a bargain. I'm thinking of picking one up? Thoughts? Is Newegg only selling the 5.5 now? I wouldn't want to get a slower one. How do this card compare to an mx400? Thanks.

Don't worry, most of these are 5.5ns memory. Anyhow, I got one with 5.5ns (183Mhz DDR) and now it is overclocked at 225Mhz Core and 406Mhz smooth. I didn't add any additional cooling, just the stock hs/f. However, I did notice some artifacts when the memory is pushed up to 420mhz.

I just got one recently from a local PC shop and It had the 5.5ns Mem.. Although I haven't had a chance to OC it yet, I should be at least able to get it close to my old ASUS V7700 speeds.

How do this card compare to an mx400? Thanks.

Most definately will do better than an MX400 as the GTS-V core does 4 texels per clock as opposed to the GeFmx's 2. I have both and find the GTS-V to be much smoother and also scores higher (non-overclocked) in 3DMark 2K.
