I am debating if I should keep the retail hs/fan or buy a nice one. I don't plan on overclocking, but would like the option to if I wanted. what do you guys think?
I personally would keep the retail hsf. Infact I broken my rule of never buying anything but retail boxed processors on my last purchase (amd 1900+) and have had nothing but headaches with getting the cpu to run cooll. I swear I'll never do it again.

Use the retail HSF until you decide to o/c. When it's time to unleash more power from the beast, pick up a Thermalrite AX-7.
The fans that came with my two MP 20o0+'s that I bought were ok for like two weeks, then one of them started to sound like a bicycle wheel with a playing card in it. And the slightest touch to it stopped the fan. Had to go aftermarket.
