I'd prefer this hot, humid heat over cold any day of the year. It got up to 99.8 around 1 pm today when I last checked in Topeka, KS. This is bearable. 99.8 with humidity is like 115-120 dry heat like the desert has.

Got up to 98 at my house in Michigan then it stormed and cooled way down. Although the humidity went way up. But at least now its only about 82

after I typed my post...I went out for a nice little jog...about 2 miles from home...the warm sticky air instantly changed to very COOL air...


a couple minutes later black clouds started rolling in from the north (as I was running east)...

While the cold air was appreciated...the multiple strikes of lighting were definitely NOT...

It took all my energy to double time it back home.

Once inside the house I checked the weather again and it stated it was 72 degrees and felt like 74...

pretty awesome weather!

That's as warm as I EVER want it to get. Just about the perfect temperature. I can handle it just a couple degrees warmer, but then that's it.
