how i set to 720p or 1080p

Hi, I just got new monitor (Acer x213w) and video card (evga 512mb 8800gts) which both support HD. But i can't find where i change the resolution to 720p or 1080p where can i find this?? right now my resolution is set on 1680x1050.

i have Xtreme-G 177.92 drivers installed

edit: is it best to just use 1680x1050? and if i do and i watch HD stuff will it automatically show the picture in HD or do i have to set it to show HD??

"HD" is 1280x720. You can change your resolution to 1280x720 if you want, but it's going to look like ass, since that's way, way below your LCD's native resolution. And if you're wanting to watch 1080P videos, you're going to need to buy another monitor, since 1080P= 1920x1080.
