R RoboTECH Platinum Member Jun 16, 2000 2,034 0 0 May 9, 2001 #2 RAMDAC indicates how high of a resolution, what color depth, and @ what refresh rate your card can handle a 270 MHz RAMDAC with high quality properly implemented filters will look far far better than a 500 MHz RAMDAC with lower quality filters.
