How is Arizona compared to Texas

texas is more humid than dry.

again, depends on where you live, west texas is dry, central texas is always in a drought but has 90% humidity all the dasm time, north texas is always rainy, east texas is fair but you can't see very far because of all the pine trees, the panhandle is just strange and desolate, south texas has a constant 20mph humid wind from the gulf (and a bad smell if your near houston )

edit: my uncle moved here from phoenix, he said the only real difference between phoenix and central texas is central texas is too dasm hot (80F in central texas is like 110F in phoenix) and that we talk strange, and have a tendancy to be more friendly toward strangers.

I think us Texans are a bit more friendly by and large as compared to other people. Anyhow, Arizona is the only other state in the southwest where I would live. Phoenix is a pretty nifty city but that is about it. Flagstaff is great for the weekend getaway, but I don't think I would live there myself. At least to me, Arizona seems so much more empty. Texas has a lot of wide open spaces, but at least you have large metropoliton areas spread throughout.

I found the weather in Arizona to be more comfortable than Texas (live in DFW) due to the humidity factor. The lack of trees, thoug, does bother me a bit.
