Maybe this is more of a PSA, but Target is getting pretty bad about not updating prices. Course part of this is because they are raising prices often cuz inflation.
Might want to use the scanner to confirm what the price would be.
This is why I wish we lived in a state where they REQUIRE a price tag on each individual unit. I hate finding items moved on the shelf that LOOK like they should be the price of what it shows on the shelf tag in front of it. Then I get up front with a rounded price in my head, only to have things ring up differently. Then I double check the receipt, go back and look at the shelf, only to find that somebody put the items behind the wrong tag. Even worse is no shelf price tag at all.
Some states require a price tag on each individual unit, which means you always know what price it is by looking at the item itself. And they HAVE to honor the price sticker on the item, too - they can't just say, "Oh, the price has gone up since then." They have to cover up the old price with a new sticker if they want to charge you a higher price.
Wish it was done in all states this way. My wife won't buy sandwiches in a deli close to downtown, because they don't have prices posted. She is convinced that they may just jack up the price they ask if they want, and she hates that they won't post or give her a sheet with the prices on it.
