I have ordered at least 5 or 6 times from them, my entire computer, and never had a problem. All of the orders have come a day early at least, and I've always used the cheapest shipping possib le. It also helps that they have 3 warehouses now, because its faster than from CA.


I just sent an RMA in for my Lite On Dvd burner that died, nad they didn't have the 4x (like my original one) in stock anymore, so they're sending me an 8x back at no charge, not even charging me for shipping it. This is after about 3 months, no questions asked.


Newegg rules, compared to buying my CPU from another site, its amazing. That other site nearly ripped me off, took 3 phone calls to get them to sendm e a confirmation, after charging my account, and it took 3 weeks to get the CPU. Newegg would have gotten it here in 1/4 of the time.

Its simple once you know how they work.... Never buy monitors, floppy drives, AS5, etc. from them. Get it local. Buy everything else local, or from SVC.com (cables, HSF, etc...)

They are at a 9.74 reseller rating for a reason.. They are the BEST !!!

There are 2 companies I always look to first for my needs... Newegg and Zipzoomfly. Mwave is pretty good also.

Whoever of thoose 3 have what I need for the lowest price gets my buisness.

I love newegg one of the best Places to buy computer parts online. But if you want your stuff before the weekends you need to have your order put in before noon on wendsday and pay the $3 to make sure it gets shiped out.

It takes you so long to receive it because you live far away from newegg's warehouse.
I live about 5 miles from newegg's main warehouse in La Puente, CA, and I get my stuff the NEXT day I order it. It gets shipped out the SAME day. It doesn't get any faster than that!

Ordered Friday. So your order didn't go through until Monday.
That's just how it goes.
Order at munch time on Monday next time and you'll get the same results: wed/thurs delivery.

Also, get HS grease and large items local or from a cheaper shipping store, like SVC or Case-mod.com

My stuff shows up in 2 business days half the time, 3 business days the rest of the time.

You ordered on Friday. If you ordered after 12pm PST, your order is pretty much guaranteed not to ship until the next business day, which is Monday. So, if things ship Monday, they arrive Thursday. That's the way Newegg and FedEx operate.

Also, you really have absolutely no room for complaint on the video card. If you thought the card was overpriced, you shouldn't have gotten it. They can set their prices wherever they want. I've seen the same item change three times in a single day. I've even seen items change price after I added them to my shopping card. When that happened, I did contact customer service and they credited me the amount as a courtesy (probably because I've spend thousands at Newegg).

I know a guy who has spent about $100,000 at Newegg. One time a flaky mobo pissed him off so much that he broke it over his knee, and Newegg still RMA'd it -- although they did charge him a restocking fee.

I do agree with others that just about my only possible complaint with Newegg is that if you buy a $4.99 fan, they still charge $4.00 shipping whether you order the fan alone, or if they just toss it into the box with a bunch of other stuff. If you buy three $4.99 fans, they charge you $4.00 shipping for each one. It's no big deal; I just add the shipping to the cost and if I don't want to pay $8.99 for the fan I don't. What makes it a little frustrating is that Newegg didn't used to do this. Your shipping charges used to be reduced automatically if you bought multiple things that could ship together. The "calculate shipping" used to actually give you a lower shipping cost than the individual prices. Now, it doesn't matter if you make one order for 10 items or 10 separate orders.

And BTW, guys, Newegg does ship from multiple places. Check your tracking. I think hard drives usually come from New Jersey.

Their RMA is pretty standard to me, I sent my Radeon 9800Pro 128MB last week, they got it wednesday last week and they are shipping it today Not as fast as I would like......good think I have an old SIS AGP video card that I can use

I have been buying stuff from Newegg for years and never had a bad experience. Well maybe the time I bought a refirb MB and it was DOA and the next one was DOA also. I call them and they refunded my money and I was only out the return postage. Refurbs are always a crap shoot.

The best experience I had was with a Shuttle board. This board caused two GF3 Ti500 to fry on the same chip and on the exact same pin. I requested an RMA and explained what was happening and they took it back and gave me EPox board which had more features than the original Shuttle board. Now get this, I had this board for eight months and they didn't gripe at all.

It's not bitching about a silly $80 board that keeps me coming back time after time. Over the past several years I have spent over $5000 at Newegg. They get all my PC purchases except for that good deal at my local BB, OM, OD, or Compusa.
