I hope you don't mean PATH. It'd be hilarious if tourists actually visited Toronto in order to see it. While you can walk around in it 24/7, the businesses in PATH are only open on weekdays between 9 AM and 6 PM. In short, PATH is not a tourist destination.

I'm not sure Toronto is the best vacation spot during the fall or winter, but it's a great city. Great nightlife (both bars and clubs), good restaurants, lots of stage shows, and so forth. Depends on what you like to do, but this city has everything.

well, I am going to be there with family. We're just looking to get away and being in the northeast, it seems like the most exotic city to visit.

The CN Tower is great if you like that sort of thing. If you want to eat in their restaurant, you might need to make reservations a day or two in advance. I enjoyed St. Lawrence Market, but I'm a foodie. Niagara Falls is about an hour away, and I'd recommend it if you've never been. Be sure to view it from the Canadian side. I was only there for two days, so I don't have much to offer. I didn't eat in the CN Tower's restaurant (360, I think), so I can't say if it's any good. I bet the views are nice though. It's not that expensive if you're going to go up in the CN Tower anyways.

CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, Eaton Centre for shopping. Really though if you are going to Toronto, check out event that are happening in the city around the time you go. They just had Nuit Blanche a few days ago which apparently was a great all-night event. I lived in the Toronto area for 20 years before moving west, it's has a lot to offer, but the city is really what you make of it.

There has been a few upgrades done to the zoo in the last 2 years, an Australia pavilion with nice aquariums and the Arctic zone was just opened in September.

I remember visiting the Metro Toronto Zoo not long after it opened. They were working on some kind of monorail thingy back then.

It was huge even though it wasn't finished yet. That was a great day.

lol, Monorail was scrapped in 94, never seen it in action. Replaced by a propane trolley called zoomobile.

Toronto has a great 'walking' downtown. Spend a few hours strolling around and absorbing the sights and sounds. Shopping; walk to Chinatown for some good food. If you get tired, take the streetcar.

Strolling around Toronto was one of my favorite parts of the visit.

I have family in Toronto but I find the place pretty boring. Yeah they have bars, nightlife but which city doesn't. The only great thing about that place is Niagara falls.

It's empty on the weekends. Go diring weekdays to feel the crush of a couple thousand business men/women. The ROM and Art Gallery were both recently heavilly renovated, and both have special exhibits on right now.
