I live in America which is the only reason I know really anything about the country. I think the blind loyalty people have towards any group is usually a bad thing

Don't know much. I know where the countries are, and some of the local cuisine, but not much else. I honestly don't associate myself with those countries in any way, and I bet the feeling is mutual.

Apparently I'm Polish (confirmed), Austrian, and English. I've been to Vienna and a few spots in England, but not for any sort of personal introspection, I just went for vacation. I'm not really one to care about that kind of crap, my love of Polack food is about as far as my interest in my heritage goes. /shrug

- Language: Fluent obviously. I'm aware of Scot's Gaelic.
- Traditions: Yes, except I don't get all that royal crap
- Holidays: What the heck is bonfire night?
- Ethnic Dancing: Aware of highland dancing. English have no dances. I hear twisting and shouting are popular, along with the stumbling drunk out of the pub dance.
- Food: Fish & Chips, full english breakfast, habitual tea drinker, and I enjoy a good pint.
- Geography: It's an island with three "countries", then the Irish bit.
- Travel: never been
- Art: Shakespeare, the Beatles, British Invasion, Dr Who

Because we live in the modern era, where cocooning yourselves in communities built upon old conventions designed in part to maintain separation between the community considered "yours" and others is less useful than the opposite -- promoting harmony and unity through the recognition of greater commonality despite superficial differentiation.
