How log on as administrator?

I cant get a 3rd puter on my home network to work. I get on the internet OK. When I run the network wizard is says something like "may not access or may not have permission to access workgroup" Someone said to make sure i'm logged on as administrator. How exactly do you do that? On the other 2 computers which can see each other and share files, I dont log on as anything. (dont log on at all) I have win XP. one of the other puters is XP also. Other is Win 98.

Witin Windows XP, goto the Control Panel. There, open User Accounts. Within it, you should see your account. Make sure it's part of the Administrators group.

thanks shadow..next question. Can more than one person be logged on as administrator?

Yes there can be more then 1 administrator, but not with the name Administrator.
