If they come asking for X days of pay, I hope you can pay it. Heck, they could probably check your computer and find this thread and use it against you.
You signed an agreement to do X works/hours per week for Y compensation. So far, they have been giving you Y for no X. In other words, you're stealing as far as I am concerned. And they will want their Y back!

I feel sorry for whoever's claim you've been ignoring. You're a douchebag.

It's been one week now, and nobody has said a word yet. I took monday, tuesday and wednesday off work. Just said I was sick. Came to work today at 10:30 totally hungover and haven't lifted a finger all day.
*Update April 14, 2008*
I just got this in an email:
Please advise of the following
XXXXXX - this is for an initial assigned March 13th - report is now DUE (30 days from referral) - Please advise.
You were also assigned an internal service request from [name] to do a 4 week JSTP at the office - Please advise as to how this is going and what has been accomplished thus far.
You were assigned a new referral on April 9th - please advise whether you've connected with the referral source and claimant to start services?
I haven't started anything on any of the three things I'm being asked about...

This thread is funny, yet at the same time it is really sad. The op is self-inflicting punishment for a job he doesn't enjoy yet the issue is his own short sightedness. In other words, you've got a good thing and you're ruining it. Let's say they are only giving you 1 hour of work a day. Right now the only thing you can think of is to fill those 7 extra hours browsing ATOT and maybe some other retarded webpages. You could however, be taking training or going to school part time and using this extra time for homework. You could be researching subjects that you needed to understand, maybe some home renovation topics. Perhaps your workspace has a gym or maybe you could do some moderate workouts at some point during your day to take up some of that time. You could read a book and educate yourself. You could learn a language. There are tons of things you could do with the extra 7 hours, which in reality is a perk, that you've instead CHOSEN to turn into a curse. The problem is you. And because the problem is you, it does not surprise me that you are willfully eliminating yourself from a good job. Maybe next time you will find a job that fills 8 hours of your day with a ton of work that will never once matter in the course of your life.

That e-mail angers me. Christ! how many times can one use the phrase "Please advise" I mean its not even used correctly. They don't need you to advise them they need you to update them. Advise and update have two totally different meanings!!!

LOL the modern day Robin Hood! He steals from the rich and helps the poor by doing nothing!
I hope you stay employed for as long as you can, because you're getting a check and pumping money into our economy in one way or another. I don't want unemployment numbers to get any higher.
