How long does an RMA request take?

How long does a RMA request take? NewEgg does instant confirmation, so how long does ATI take? I am sending back my 8500 and it has been a couple days since I requested a RMA code.

Call ATI and ask what the deal is. 48 hours is a widely-accepted "acceptable time period to wait for an email response." You're being ignored at this point, IMO. Call them up and reference your email that you never got a reply to.

I emailed Palit ([url]www.palitusa.com)[/url] to request an RMA number for my GF4 4200 that died. I got a response in 24 hours.

Granted, ATI is 10x the size of Palit, but still...customer service is there or it isnt' . Call and ger your RMA number over the phone.

ATi took about a week to respond to my RMA.

ati responded the same night to my questions and the next day for the rma

i waited till after christmas to send it off though and it took 6 days iirc to get it back

if you want fast prepay for a new one and get reimbursed for it....

ATI and Crucial do prepay which I love...if you don't prepay, sometimes it's a couple days, in busy times a couple weeks.

Both companies had my prepayed RMA to me within the week....and my refund within two.
