How long does the coffee "crash" affect you?

I finished my cup over 4 hours ago, and I still feel like crap. I think it gets worse as you get older....

Yea only black coffee here as well. Think Wesley Snipes. Caffiene didnt used to do this to me. Oh well.

I really don't seem to get any up or down from coffee (black too). But I also don't get any adverse side affects if I don't drink it.. I just want it in the early AM.

For me it lasts a bit, usually until I eat something. It has definitely gotten worse as I get older (30)....I can drink about 1/2 as much as I used to, but everyone's different. I know some people, in the 40's and 50's, that can still pound caffeine like it'll be gone tomorrow.

Feel like crap for a week? Many times, something will happen on a Saturday morning and I'll get too involved in dealing with something right off the bat. By 2 in the afternoon, I feel worse than "like crap" and am desperately trying to get some coffee into my system. I can't imagine trying to even make it until 5pm.

I know, I'm not that bad... I get a headache if I don't have any caffeine in my system by 11pm.. and then the headache lasts all day. IF I don't have caffeine, I'm depressed as well... like really sad ...

But I also have gone without caffeine to get off of it and it works, it's just like any drug withdrawal ... terrible lol but hey if you're strong enough, you can DO IT!!

Who wants to though? Caffeine makes me feel good for no reason lol.
