and no, SCSI drives are not noisy, my seagate Cheetah 15.3K HD is quieter than many 7200RPM IDE drives...so to clear up the misconception

No I wasn't directing that toward you I was just mentioning it is a common problem people seem to complain about for the raptor drives.
I have 2 older 10K Atlas SCSI's that are both EXTREMELY loud.
