Yesterday was the first day the exponential growth failed to meet or exceed my estimates meaning growth has SLOWED!!! Remarkably so.
We should have hit 200,000 by yesterday. We missed that by a wide margin.
Case increases seem to have thankfully stalled at the 19-20 thousand a day mark.
We'll see if this trend continues, but maybe, just maybe, this shit IS working in spite of so many dumbasses not social distancing.

Has the case count stalled because of test availability and shipments? Is that why we seem to hit the limit midday and then new case reports drop off?
I wish it was true, but all it is showing is we have maxed out our capabilities of testing. Either we are running short of tests (this is happening in Washington State where I live), or we have reached the max processing capacities of being able to process each test for results. Or there is just a delay in areas getting results in. Washington state was updating them every single day, but as of an hour ago, they have not updated for 3 days, as an example.
