The chief doctor of Moscow’s top hospital for coronavirus patients says he’s tested positive, a statement that comes a week after his encounter with President Vladimir Putin.
Putin visited the Kommunarka hospital a week ago and met with its chief doctor Denis Protsenko. The doctor says he’s feeling OK and self-isolated in his office.
There was no immediate comment from the Kremlin on whether Putin had undergone a coronavirus test following Protsenko’s announcement.
The president wore a business suit and shook hands with Protsenko before the meeting, drawing a buzz on social networks over his neglect of safety precautions.

Add to that tests are taking four to five days to get results. I know several people who have tested positive and all took at least four days to get their results.I wish it was true, but all it is showing is we have maxed out our capabilities of testing. Either we are running short of tests (this is happening in Washington State where I live), or we have reached the max processing capacities of being able to process each test for results. Or there is just a delay in areas getting results in. Washington state was updating them every single day, but as of an hour ago, they have not updated for 3 days, as an example.
Just wondering why they can't say anything nice about him or ask him questions that aren't accusatory? He's not been perfect but the good definitely has outweighed the bad in his handling of this.

It will of course be a tiny, tiny fraction of the gap in masks and such needed and will have no meaningful bearing on the shortage, but they will cling to it.
