We just don't have to make up for lack of penile strength, like you.

LOL

I pull myself outta bed every day,and go to work.

{Lol sounds like the start of some old song}

I get my exercise walking to and from my car.
{Or when my G/F spends the night.}

Real pullups,i can't do any more,arms are too weak,have damaged both arms in past.

Both biceps are messed up.

I'll find something tonight to do them on, and get back to you. I haven't had to do pull-ups since 5th grade.

I haven't done close grip pull ups in months. I usually do wide grip pull ups as part of my back workout. I do 3 sets of 10s, but can probably get 12 if I had to go all out.

With close grips, I could probably do 14-16, but that's just a guestimate.

you guys [assuming that you are indeed guys] are incredibly weak. please do yourselves a favor and stay fit. 0-10 pull-ups palms out or in is very sad. If you guys can't do that much, i bet you guys can't curl 20-35 lbs.

all that *self pleasuring* must have built some forearm muscles. coooome on

As always, this place degrades into a house of lies once strength questions come along. Most fo the people here are under 20, and most guys in their teens can do a few, at most, if their form is right (which means no swinging/kicking the legs, and going all the way down, and all the way up).

The guy who said 50 - cool. I can do a million. With one arm.

Nonsense. You simply have no idea what you're talking about. I would suppose the average male adult who is untrained, at the average male adult weight of 180ish would be hard pressed to do a single proper pullup. If you're doing 25 you've either trained a lot or you have the most pathetic little boy's body ever, and weigh about 45 lbs.

What type of range of motion are you people using?

there are guys at my gym who will do like 10, but their arms are all curled up and kicking the whole time. I would say they do about 1/4th a full rep each time. They look rediculous.

as for myself

10-12 Palms away from me
12-15 Palm towards me

all the way up (chin above bar, chest/neck touching bar), hold for a moment
all the way down under control not too fast, hang for a moment (so can feel stretch)

I have been working on these for the last year about 2-3 times a week. Started at about 3-5 (palms away) pullups.

~18 either way. I went from doing 0 in HS, got one of those pull up bars from Sports Authority and just kept trying.

He weighs nothing I doubt they're real pullups anyway, from a fully outstretched arm position, all the way to the top, with no body swinging/kicking. I've noticed the same thing b3b0p has in regards to people's form.

you're right hes light with thin arms. it doesnt make it any easily no matter how heavy or light you are. the degree of difficulty is the same.

One of my friends does them this way (as do all his friends and his friends friends, etc.... in fact I don't think I have ever seen anyone do it with correct form or full range of motion)

Anyway, when asked how many he did one time, he proclaims with a clean face, 10.

all while I was standing behind him watching.

Hahahahahahehehehehohohohoh!
