* This laptop was specially built off an iBook clamshell to take a trip to Cancun, Mexico. It was an unexpected test of it's purportedly indestructible construction. The Linux operating system did not survive (thanks to the TSA), though the hardware got battered heavily, it still functions fully. It presently sits, awaiting a fresh install of a new, airport-security-proof operating system.
And if you want to count my show pieces -
IBM PC
IBM PC XT
IBM PC AT
Tandy 1000TL
Tandy 1000RL
TRS-80
CoCo 2
CoCo 3
80GHz in loose CPUs of nearly every type and description.
heh wow. what do you do and why so many?

My home network is actually a development version of a network where I work. Hence the 10 servers/DC's. Everything else is either just part of life, or stuff stacked up as spares.

Entertainment and it's sort of misleading as I don't really have a house per say, but yes my home has all these computers.

GRRR! I need a sound to go along with that. Slip it in with announcements, etc. I know just the person that could help me with that regard.
I'm in charge of ET here.
Does not bother me a bit. Actually feels weird to be on land and especially in a car. :Q Can't get homesick as I'm always home - on the ship.

Wait, what? What did TSA do to your laptop?

Yes ET = Entertainment.
I would not trade it for anything else. Like everything it has its ups and downs but the lowest downs are still above than the best times I've had elsewhere.
