Unfortunately, not all of us are in the military and have the ability to use such tools of destruction.

4 years in the Marine Corps, with 2 years of that in combat during the Vietnam War, gave me the opportunity not only to fire a large variety of different weapons, but to fire them at living, moving targets...:thumbsup:

Maybe a hundred or a hundred and fifty. Been shooting since I was 12. When I was picking out my duty weapon I went through at least twenty or thirty full sized pistols. Same when I chose my concealed piece. We also tend to 'share around' when we go shooting so everyone gets a chance on everyone elses guns. It adds up quick.

All kinds of 9mm's, including all Uzi variations.
357 magnum
M16, AK47, etc.
many more I'm forgetting.
And one type I bet very few here if any have fired.

I'm not into guns, so it's not something I do often, and I don't know the names. But my brother took me to a range as a kid and I shot a .22 rifle. Also I have a friend who is a cop and he took me to a range and I shot some hand gun I rented, and I also shot his gun that he carries on the job.

But those same damn targets could shoot back! That would suck.

Take a trip to some parts of the world, you can find opportunities to fire such things. I've been offered the chance to shoot a rocket launcher for a couple hundred bucks. Figure the cost of a plane ticket around $1500, you could easily afford the chance to blow some sh!t up for less than two grand.
