How many games do you own but haven't beaten?

I have almost 20 PC games that I haven't beaten; dating as far back as Mech Warrior 2 and StarCraft, close to a dozen Xbox games, and 5 Gamecube games. Also got a few Xbox and GCN games that I've beaten, but not unlocked all the extras.

I'm thinking that perhaps I should try to beat all these before buying anymore

Anybody else have a ton of games they've bought but not beaten?

All I'm really playing now is magic the gathering online. And you cant really "beat" it. Although I play booster drafts, and win or do well quite often.

I was thinking the same thing. I have prolly around 30 games that I just never get around to finishing.

yeah - i'm bad for starting one up and losing interest.

a good game is one that can keep me addicted to it like crack until the very end. recent ones like this were KOTOR 1 & 2, COD, HL2.

i'm playing NFS:MW lately... not sure if i'll have the enthusiasm to finish the blacklist. i'll try.

Uh, I posted a thread to ATOT asking if anyone played MTGO. I don't recall you replying.

I finish most of them ... but a few I haven't. I never finished NFS:Underground, and although I play all the time, I never actually complete all the objectives in any of the Tiger Woods games.

I'm really bad about leaving games at a certain point for several months and not coming back to finish it until much later. I can think of at least 5 games I am in various stages of playing, but have not yet completed.

same here. mostly RPGs too... Dungeon Seige and Diablo 2 are a couple i can think of. oh, and Neverwinter Nights. only got about 1/4 through IIRC.

Yeah most of my uncompleted games are RPGs or RTS's. FPS's or any sort of co-op multiplayer game rarely last long.

Yeah, I suck at games, have a short attention span, and a stress on time due to family reasons.
I did manage to complete KotOR 1, have not really been able to get into playing KotOR2.
Pretty close to beating HL2.
All the rest are in various stages of barely started-ness.
I better start unloading them on FS/FT

I usually stop playing a game for a while after a frustrating part. In farcry, I'm stuck on the stupid research lab level - the freakin traigans take a whole clip to kill. In Zero Hour I got frustrated on the USA mission after the dam blows and hordes of GLA storm you. In HL2 I'm still stuck in Nova Prospect.

sooo many agmes i haven't finished...but i DID finish mech2! that game is awesome. the latest simpsons game for ps2 pisses me off. i'm at this one level where i have to drive someplace extremely far away in like 30 seconds...without hitting anything. it's impossible so i just quit.

Like many of the other replies, I still haven't managed to finish HL2, Farcry, etc...
But every once in a while a game comes along that I can get totally absorbed in, and this year that would have to be Resident Evil 4. Beat the whole game and unlocked all the additional content... which I can rarely say of any game.
