The last time I cried was about 5 years ago. I remember it very well. I was leaving a MAJOR part of my life behind...Everything changed in the course of one day, and, to be quite honest, I was scared. At the very least, apprehensive as hell as to what the future held for me. --And I was alone. There was NO ONE around to even talk to for days. That was a tough time, but I consider it a valuable experience.
I ALMOST cried a few days ago, when I was reading William Wegman's book about his relationship with his dog Fay Ray. I read it cover to cover in one sitting, and it basically draws you in, makes you live the life with the dog, and then makes you mourn the loss of her to leukemia. VERY sad in the end. --And every now and then, a movie will choke me up. I can't watch Glory (the Civil War movie) without choking up big time. As a matter of fact, I can't hardly think about it without choking up. --But I have never shed a tear watching it. That's one thing I refuse to do, is cry at a movie. I'm not afraid to cry, but I'll be DAMNED if I'mn gonna let a hollywood producer manipulate me like that in public!
