Similar for me, except the oldest car I ever drove was a 1982 Pontiac Phoenix. Real POS.
I drove an '85 Dodge Aries (very similar to your car) for years. Much better than the Phoenix.
Edit: P.S. 22HP has to be a misprint, right? Mine was apparently 96HP.
I think that was meant to be a joke. My old Plymouth was WAY underpowered... you had to build up a head of steam and accelerate ahead of time in order to make it up a steep hill. It was rated for 84HP in theory, but there is no way that old thing was making more than 70.
It also had a fun issue where the car would get stuck in park if you parked it on a steep hill. You had to get out and rock the car to get it to disengage. I once got it stuck on purpose and made my little sisters friends get it unstuck... they never asked me for a ride again after that
