How many of you have pulled "all-nighters"?

Of course I've done them.

But, frankly, I do better getting an hour or so nap and then going back to work. One time I had three straight days of SOLID class, work, or projects, with about four hours of sleep total.

i had to work in a group with 4 friends on this price analysis project. a couple of people didnt pull entirely their weight and i had to do a lot of wrap-up work in the end. it was an all nighter, good thing i had a friend stay up with me to do more than his part. got a 99/100 on the paper, probably lost the point because i spelled the prof's name wrong

i think all of us in college have been there before. i pulled a half assed one studying for a physics final. i studied until 4am and slept until 7am to take the test at 8:30am.

No, I hope I'm never forced to. So far gone through a term and a bit of university and been getting plenty of sleep, but it's only first year, I guess. Hopefully it doesn't get a lot worse.

never had to pull one in college..i dont do well with less than 6 hrs of sleep (with 5 i barely function)..key is just maximizing your time..Graduating senior EE major

final exam 8:30am, final exam 4:30pm, project due on on the same day. I didn't sleep for 24+ hours and went to watch the Sonics vs rockets right after my 4:30pm final exam.
That was intense.

All this week I've worked double shifts until 10pm then went oncall.

Sleep is for the weak.

i did 70+ hours awake spring semester last year. Haha, I was falling asleep and snapping back towards the end, but I'd still have fragments of dream in my mind, so all my friends thought I was hallucinating.

I slept for something like 17 or 18 hours after that. Woulda been longer but my roommate woke me up because he was afraid that i'd died.

Never when I have class the next. It is really pointless not to get some sleep especially for tests.

never have - no matter what I have to do, at one point I just say "****** it" and go to bed. I would rather get bad marks than miss a night of sleep.

last semester I had just over 1 day to study for a final (Control Systems). I studied the entire day and I still wasn't done by 3am, but I just went to sleep. Turned out I did very well...

the only times i've pulled them off successfully has been for early exams (8-10am). And even 10 is a little too late. Because once noon hits, i just shut down COMPLETELY.
Once I had a 12:30 exam that i pulled an all-nighter for, and i cant remember the last 30 minutes of the test. I just remember falling asleep at least 6 or 7 times while transferring answers to the scantron.

I've stayed up for almost 4 days once. You begin to hallucinate, become dizzy, and often feel like you're going in and out of consciousness.
