With my Insomnia, apparent depression and Fibromyalgia, I pull all-nighters every other day or every other two days.

I am a grad student in EE right now, and have never pulled an all nighter because of school. I have a couple times because of early travel plans though.

Planning ahead FTW!

Yes plenty of times, but while I thought they were fun at the time, I would never do them again.

it's dangerous for both your mental and physical health, that when your body recognizes that it's not staying awake to work, becomes worse the next day. but I guess if you are really dedicated, you have to stay up and make sure your make every second is worth while so you don't become lazy. ultimately, you want to practice staying on the edge to gain insight of faster learning without the need of sleep for long periods of time - should that time ever come for any of us.

its much easier to do when you are younger, i am sure most ppl have done that in college. imho 1 all nighter is much easier than continuous lack of sleep (after a few days, you'll end up sleeping 2 hours at a time, so its more like 5x(2+2) hours of sleep for a work week) you'll see body take severe toll, headache, forgetful, weight change, mental problems as well as some physical problems... yep personal experience.

yeah, so lack of sleep is not good...

good luck on the CCNA.

I average about 3-5 hours sleep a night sun-wed during school. At least one all-nighter a week. Like tonight for instance. 8-(
