How many of you use Internet Banking...

I had to go to the bank about a month ago to get some traveller's checks for vacation, but other than that haven't been in about 3 years.

I use fleet and it's great. I only go to the ATM when I have checks to deposit. Too lazy to mail them in.

I go to bank once a month mostly because of AT For Sale forums But I use a normal bank and direct deposit, other than that would never need to go.

I don't use Internet banking and probably haven't set foot INSIDE an actual bank in about a year. Any deposits I have to make are through ATMs and I get direct deposit from work.

I use it all the time. I have probably been in my bank once in the last 6 months. Use the ATM for everything, pay my bills online, balance my checkbook online (not really a checkbook, I should say balance MS Money Online. )

While I never physically go to the bank except to deposit cash (a rare event), I would not use Internet banking. If I ever do have a big problem, I want to be able to see someone face-to-face to have it resolved. I've read too many sad tales from people who have had Paypal problems and can't get anyone to help them.

That's why I use internet banking with a local bank. I can go talk to someone if there is a problem.

There are two really great internet banks, First Internet Bank of Indiana and PC Banker. I personally use the first one, FIB. They are damn good and I feel my money is safe with them. Only had one problem with them and it was satisfactoriily resolved (my ATM deposit was stolen).

I hate real banks right now, they are out to screw the regular Joe it seems.

I do! I use it to pay bills for my checking/saving account. Also have an account with my credit card where I can view my balance. Its pretty nice.

I don't know why anyone who has the internet wouldn't bank online. I've been doing it for a few years now, and it is sweet. I go into my bank maybe once a year, and that's to talk to a banker about increasing RRSP's, lowering interest on my credit accounts, etc. Not only do I not have to put up with going to the bank, but I don't have to wait in line to pay utility bills, credit card bills, trade on the stock market, it's all in one spot online.

My bank doesn't even have a physical branch. It's all internet, telephone and ATM banking (with the exception of some kiosks where you can go to get a new bank card, sign up, etc.). I've been using it for three years and will never go back.

I have a savings account, checking account, RRSP's, a line of credit, and can even get a mortgage if I want it. I pay all of my bills online and also get points that go towards free groceries. If I ever have a problem, I just pick up the phone and call, anytime of the day. I've never even been on hold for longer than a couple of minutes.

The best part is that I have NEVER paid any kind of banking fee for anything. Everyone that I work with complains about how they are getting raped by all of the bank fees that they have to pay, yet no one does anything about it. It's unbelievable. I know people who pay more than $30 a month in fees.

I hate regular banks with a passion.:disgust:

Of course. I do it all online and go into the bank as infrequently as possible. I also use plastic wherever I can thus the few times I need cash I just get extra out when I buy my groceries or whatever with debit.

I use Wells Fargo internet banking to check my account and do transfers between savings and checking.

internet banking w/ the local bank. Altho i go every so often cause i haven't done direct deposit for where i work (school job, i get paid maybe $250/mo So i'm lazy) I'm not comfortable doing deposits from the atm for some reason (one that's not at a physical branch)... i dunno. All my bills are paid online tho... i rarely ever write checks.. heh

I check all of my accounts a minimum of once a day when I wake up as well to make sure everything is copacetic

I use online banking on a daily basis, part of my morning ritual.

Just to verify which checks cleared, deposits, debit card purchases and credit card activity.

I only visit the actual branch when depositing cash (I refuse to trust an ATM with my ca$h).
