How many people here are in/ were in a band?

I have been in & out a number of bands since 2000. I play bass guitar.

Never played it in a band though. Always wanted to just i think with how crappy most of today's music is I wouldnt find anyone who would click with my style...

In high school our band's name was 'Mindless Dust'. Not that we ever played a real gig anywhere but we had fun

Well lets put it this way. I enjoy to play live and will play alot of things. I have played blues, ska, pop-punk, even some contry live. I listen to Heavy Metal 97% of the time, I just enjoy playing bass live.

I looooooove playing with Mp3's... its one of my favorite things to do and im not that bad at it... Just ska and punk is really big over here and well, I hate ska and punk.

I was in a band in HS -- we played 3 shows and then broke up after the drummer kicked the bassist out and the lead guitarist and I kicked the drummer out, eheh. It was fun, we were starting to do some originals, but mainly stuck to classic rock/metal stuff like Sabbath and Cream. After that, I would record mp3s by myself on computer w/ guitar and vocals (and experimented with drum samples). Haven't really had time to mess with it much since I started working full-time four years ago, though.

Played drums in local bands for a while, got out of it sold my Rogers set.
2 weeks ago went and bought my beautiful new Pacific 5 piece set, with Zildjian cymbals.
Best stress relief(aside from sex) goin.

I like your p-bass, thats what I play. Wish I had a blue one like you, not a huge fan of 3 color sunburst (looks like a country bass).
